My final thoughts on Bangkok

Bangkok was everything I didn’t know I needed — chaotic, vibrant, delicious, overwhelming in the best way, and full of moments that reminded me why I love solo travel so much. From the temples (the few I actually made it to), to the cooking class, to the cocktail bars, to the Black‑owned lounge that felt like home, this trip gave me culture, comfort, and a whole lot of stories to bring back with me.

Traveling alone at 29, stepping into year 30, and checking off another country on my 30×30 list felt like such a full‑circle moment. I laughed, I learned, I got humbled by traffic, I ate like I had no self‑control, and I met people who turned a solo trip into a shared experience.

If there’s one thing I hope you take from this post, it’s this: you’re never really alone when you travel — you just have to be open enough to Liv‑a‑Little.

Until the next adventure.
